- Do not buy this sandal!These sandals are beautiful and I love the Aetrex brand, but the ankle strap holder at the heal broke after my daughter had worn the shoes four times. We had the sandal repaired (for which Canadian Footwear has very kindly offered to pay the cost) but the new stitching rubs and sadly the beading on the back of the sandal was damaged when the repair was made. Looking now at the stitching at the heal strap connection piece on the other sandal, I am concerned that it will likely give out as well. I wish we could return them but since the repair has been made, that is not possible. These sandals are an expensive disappointment.
